Celebrating Excellence in Board Leadership

De Soto #73 is proud to recognize our Board of Education for being honored at the Summer Summit for their commitment to outstanding leadership and continuous improvement.

Board members were recognized for achieving various levels of board member certification through the Missouri School Boards' Association. Pictured are those recognized in the Advanced designation: Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Coleman, Mr. Cook, and Mrs. Milfeld; the Master designation: Mrs. Coleman (Mr. Ferrell was unable to attend); and the Distinguished designation: Mr. Golightly and Mrs. Wilson.

In addition to these individual achievements, the De Soto #73 Board of Education received the prestigious Governance Award and was one of only three districts statewide to earn this year's list awards—an exceptional accomplishment that reflects the board's dedication to effective governance and a continued focus on student success.
